Welcome

I primarily work with adults in individual therapy.  People often reach out with a desire to better manage symptoms related to anxiety, depression or difficulties in childhood or adolescence. Some also seek therapy with me to better integrate a  painful experience or for support in present day relationships.

In my experience,  feeling better is often tied to compassion  and learning from past experiences so we can engage with the present with openness and flexibility.

I am honoured to work as a psychotherapist, I respect and value the unique needs of each individual. 

I have over 20 years experience as a social worker and administrator in the non-profit, Alternative Dispute Resolution and post-secondary education sectors. Bringing this related experience to private practice and psychotherapy in 2021. Currently my private practice incorporates relational, embodied and trauma-informed practices such as EMDR and Gestalt therapy.

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt, by definition, refers to the form or shape of something and suggests that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Gestalt therapy gives attention to how we place meaning and make sense of our world and our experiences.
